Microsoft Windows

IntelliTrax has been built from the ground up on the Microsoft Windows NT environment. Using Borland C++ 5.0 Enterprise, our development team developed IntelliTrax on computers running Windows NT 4.0 Server. This is an expensive environment to develop in because of the cost of the software and hardware necessary for this level of robust development environment, however, we at Vision Quest believe that developing in the highest quality environment ensures the quality of our products.

Vision Quest has been testing IntelliTrax to run on Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows 98, Windows 95, and now we are running IntelliTrax on Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Professional. We are so confident in the Quality of our product on the Windows platform that we have Certified IntelliTrax through the Microsoft Windows Readiness Program. 

Citrix MetaFrame

To simplify the deployment of IntelliTrax over Wide Area and Wide Array Networks, Vision Quest recommends the use of Citrix MetaFrame. MetaFrame delivers a comprehensive server-based solution to the enterprise by extending Windows Terminal Server with additional client and server functionality including support for heterogeneous computing environments, enterprise-scale management, and seamless desktop integration. MetaFrame transforms the way organizations deploy, manage and access business applications by providing improved application reach, speed, predictability and cost. Citrix MetaFrame system software, which incorporates Citrix’s Independent Computing Architecture (ICA), provides a complete comprehensive solution for multi-user NT 4.0 environments.

IBM AS/400

Currently, Vision Quest is beginning cross platform development of IntelliTrax with IBM. Designed as a single entity, AS/400 offers built-in facilities such as our relational database based on DB2 UDB, communications and networking capabilities, online help and much more. On the iSeries 400, the user/operator communicates with all of the components of the operating system using a single command language called Control Language or CL. IntelliTrax is now listed on IBM's Global Solutions Directory.

Vision Quest is an Authorized 3Com Sales and Service Center. We provide sales, installation, and service on a wide range of 3Com products. Additionally, our partnership with 3Com enables us to provide nationwide support for 3Com products through 3Com's partner alliance system.
